THIS IS YOGA. THIS IS AIOGA.
BALANCE IN INSTABILITY.
POISE IN CHAOS.
COMFORT IN DISCOMFORT.
PERFECTION IN IMPERFECTION.
While there is already an incredibly vibrant online community celebrating asana, the physical practice of yoga, at Aioga, we are here to provide space for conversation and engagement around the more subtle aspects of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices in general.
We believe that it's OUR STORIES, our personal journeys, trials, tribulations, and triumphs that are most compelling as tools of motivation, inspiration, and connection.
The Aioga Project is simply a space we've created to help people share a more complete picture of what their practice means to them, what changes it has brought about in their day to day life, how it has changed their relationship with their own self, with their loved ones, their communities, and the world at large.
By sharing tiny glimpses into the lives of those who have recognized that the better we care for ourselves, the more capable we are of better caring for others, this is a celebration of mindful living.
No matter our size, shape, color, creed, gender, orientation, ability, tax bracket, or experience level, we all hold the tremendous wisdom of our personal experience and the power of our own personal story.
We are all teachers. We are all students.
Join us on this journey of discovery, inspiration, and celebration.
Say it with pride.
"When we can let go of what other people think and own our story, we gain access to our worthiness—the feeling that we are enough just as we are and that we are worthy of love and belonging. When we spend a lifetime trying to distance ourselves from the parts of our lives that don’t fit with who we think we’re supposed to be, we stand outside of our story and hustle for our worthiness by constantly performing, perfecting, pleasing, and proving. Our sense of worthiness—that critically important piece that gives us access to love and belonging—lives inside of our story." / BRENE BROWN
