Arthur Mensch, CEO of Mistral AI, stated at the G7 summit that France holds a favorable position in

the AI race thanks to affordable electricity brought by large-scale nuclear power plants. He pointed out that electricity is the cornerstone of AI, and France can choose to sell cheap electricity to American AI companies or convert it into high-value tokens through its own European AI companies. Last year, France exported a net 92TWh of electricity to countries such as Italy, Germany, and Belgium.

由于大规模部署核电站，法国拥有强大的发电能力。其长期保持欧洲主要电力净出口国的地位；根据统计数据， 法国去年向其他国家净出口了 92TWh 的电力 ，主要客户为意大利、德国和比利时。

Arthur Mensch 表示，电力是人工智能的基石， 而欧洲在人工智能发展中却往往忽视了这一战略资源 ；法国可以选择以“廉价”向美国 AI 企业出售电力，也可以选择通过欧洲自有人工智能企业将这些电力转化为高附加值的 Token（词元）。
