官方描述显示，千问输入法的核心定位是一款从“说话”出发的 AI 输入工具，号称“说完即成稿”。IT之家注意到，其语音输入功能基于阿里自研的 CosyVoice 语音大模型，官方宣称语音输入最快可达每分钟 300 字。

在识别能力方面，该输入法支持粤语、四川话、上海话等 9 种方言以及中英混合语音的识别。单次录音最长支持 3 分钟，可用于长邮件、周报、会议纪要等场景的内容录入。

区别于传统的语音转文字工具，千问输入法的核心差异在于大模型驱动的语义理解和内容润色能力。用户口述内容后， 系统会自动过滤“嗯”“啊”等口语化语气词 、纠正口误、理顺语序，并进行分段排版和格式化整理。例如，一段包含口误的口语“王总，会议定在两点…… 不对三点”，可被实时修正为结构化文本“王总，会议定在下午三点，地点为老会议室，请带上市场调研报告”。此外，系统还能将一段口语化叙述自动拆解为清单、纪要或笔记等格式。在键盘输入方面，应用提供 26 键和 9 键切换、智能联想、模糊拼音及输入纠错等功能，并支持单手模式。
