Amazon has launched a new round of layoffs in its General Artificial Intelligence (AGI) division,
one of several small-scale layoffs following the global layoff of 16,000 people in January. AGI business executive Rohit Prasad left at the end of last year, and the head of the AGI lab, David Luan, departed in February. Amazon stated that it is focusing resources on projects that matter most to customers, and the number of people affected by this round of layoffs has not yet been determined.

亚马逊 AGI 数据服务副总裁阿迪布 · 沙纳、AGI 信息副总裁维沙尔 · 夏尔马旗下团队的部分员工在网络论坛发帖称，自己受到裁员影响。目前尚无法确定本轮裁员涉及多少人。
