ByteDance today announced the launch of the Seed STEM Scientist Program, inviting 100 scholars in

cutting-edge scientific fields to collaborate on real research problems and promote AI-accelerated scientific discovery. The program is open to PhD-level or equivalent researchers in STEM fields, offering computing resources, AI team collaboration, and financial compensation. The first phase will last approximately 6 months, with applications closing on September 30, 2026.

IT之家注意到，字节跳动此前启动了 Seed Edge 研究计划，专注于探索未知的智能边界和长期重要课题。今天，Edge 团队正式发起 Seed STEM 科学家计划。

对 AI 加速科学发现有强烈的兴趣和坚定的信念，并能清晰判断 AI 在本领域学科中的应用价值和现有的能力边界

字节提供以下两种参与方式，邀请学者来到办公现场，与 Seed 团队紧密协作， 首期计划约持续 6 个月 。

博士实习生：STEM 相关领域，对 AI 探索前沿问题抱有极大兴趣的在读博士同学

申请截止时间 2026 年 9 月 30 日，工作地点位于北京市海淀区
