Erez Askal, head of Israel's National Artificial Intelligence Authority, is lobbying TSMC, Samsung
Foundry, and Intel Foundry, hoping that one of them will build a wafer fab in the country to produce 2nm or more advanced logic chips. He plans to build a data center cluster in Israel with 100,000 GPUs within the next five years.
