Samsung Electronics is expected to officially launch the in-memory processing product LPDDR5X-PIM in
August 2026. This product integrates computing units within the DRAM die, aiming to shorten the distance between logic and storage, overcome the 'memory wall' bottleneck, and reduce power consumption.
