Hitachi, Intel, and the Alliance of Industry, Academia, and Research Institutions are collaborating
to develop a 100+ qubit silicon-based quantum chip based on Intel's 18A process technology, covering design, packaging, and PDK. The alliance will also develop 3D integration technology for 1,000 qubit systems and cloud deployment technology for silicon-based quantum computers, aiming to achieve industrial-grade quantum computing using mass production processes compatible with standard semiconductors.
