Ego-OSCAR is an open-source hardware, low-cost head-mounted stereo inertial capture device, with a
single-unit material cost of less than $200, using only commercial components and 3D-printed parts. The device is equipped with hardware-synchronized global shutter stereo cameras, a 6-axis IMU, and an embedded Linux SBC, and it comes with a fully open-source software stack and approximately 550 hours of daily indoor first-person stereo video with synchronized IMU. The dataset provides open-vocabulary action annotations and frame-by-frame 3D hand reconstruction, aiming to lower the barrier for large-scale crowdsourced first-person data collection. 🔗 Read the original via AIHOT · https://aihot.virxact.com/items/cmsofh7p60plirofwefa5l92s
