Samsung Electronics has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with French AI startup Mistral AI,
combining Mistral AI's semiconductor technology and manufacturing data with Mistral AI's efficient AI model technology to jointly develop proprietary AI models for semiconductor design and manufacturing. This model will be deployed locally and applied in data analysis, defect prediction, process optimization, and other areas. Samsung Electronics is also one of the lead investors in Mistral AI's €3 billion Series D financing.
