LG Electronics announced that it will build its third global AIDC chiller plant in Windsor,
Virginia, USA, while simultaneously expanding the capacity of its two plants in Pyeongtaek and Changwon, South Korea, with total investment of KRW 150 billion. The new U.S. plant will occupy 170,000 square meters and produce air-cooled AIDC chillers. It is expected to begin operations in 2027H2, localizing chiller production capacity in North America.
